When people ask me how's uni like, I always go AWESOME ! Which essentially, it is. I met the most amazing group of people that I had the honour to meet and befriend. Well, I am the only Asian of the group anyway.
And yes, we are a group of very sensible uni students who build forts in the empty bar on the night before the last day of term because many would be gone by dinner the next day.
That's Karen, Jemma, Sophie, Sam and Nathan. They are so ridiculous and so funny. I truly wish I was a year or two younger because when you are 21, you are suddenly the sensible adult of the group even though you are really not.
I swear this pair (they're a couple) are really awesome. They take care of me and invite me to everything, making sure that I am okay (just like how the rest of my flatmates does) and etc. Now they are all home and regularly messaging me and Ivana was like, if you are not feeling well or happy, message me anytime ! -cries- WHY DO I HAVE GOOD FRIENDS LIKE THEM.
And Nathan's coming back earlier, on the same day that I would be back on campus. And he thought that he would be able to meet my mum despite me telling him that the day I'm back would be the day she leaves the country. And he was just so excited until Ivana and I repreatedly told him that it's not possible until he finally understood and gave a disappointed oh.
That's Saniya helping Nathan to look the part of a beautiful lady. Nathan is ridiculous at most times but. Gosh. Thinking about all of them make me smile so much.
And this was Friday night where Ivana, Nathan, David, Jemma, Natalie and another one of their friends invited me down to the bar to play some pool and watch Nathan finally trash David after the humiliating loss on Thursday night. We were snapchatting Sophie who's already back home.
She's so hilarious I swear.
And the thing about Easter is that, it's quite interesting how the occasions that we don't really have a huge celebration for back home in Singapore is such a big event here in the UK and probably the whole of Europe as well.
We have these Easter eggs hanging about everywhere in the school and you could collect one of them and bring them to the Students Service Centre. I found this but I gave it to Ivana since I am not really that big of a fan of chocolates (And I have already eaten 5 Easter eggs before Easter even arrive).
This was during the dining-in and Caroline asked me to take a video of Sam drumming because he's really good at it but we never really have a chance to see him play. The songs for the dining-in was good.
And if you ask what are my weekends like, since I live so far out in the countryside where everyone agrees that it is a 鸟不生蛋的鬼地方 (isolated place), this is how it usually is. And not captured on video is Nathan doing the same thing ...
