22 April 2015 - Happiness can always be something small

The best part about being on this uni/campus is that, they would always have surplus of office files and other things so an email usually get sent out to everyone so they can help themselves to all those. But I have always been really slow to check my email so whenever I see it and make my way down to the main entrance, they are all snapped up by the really fast.

But anyway, I am done with Physics ! Just got to do chem and stats with a little bit of maths. Ugh. So many things to do ! The kitchen bin got a little vomit-inducing because of that stench but Caroline helped to clean it up this morning (as part of our procrastination plan going on) so yay !

I am super lucky to have very good flatmates who are very considerate and help to clean up whenever possible. Sometimes we would have like flat cleaning party going on. Usually Sam starts it, then the rest of us pitch in to help.

Super awesome.

Talking about productivity.

The other night, Nat asked if I want to play pool with the other globe people but I turned it down because I decided to be productive for once. Turns out, the one time I am productive, I miss out on the fun.

Barely 40 mins later, Nat sent us a photo in the group chat.

That man over there, the one you see with the white hair, is the head of the main campus and they played pool with him. Nat said that he was really pro and ported all the balls at a go. So essentially, he 8-balled the rest.
All those important people there are the head of the Malaysia Campus and head of the China Campus. The head of the China Campus got them all a drink. A funny story was the lady who was the head of the Malaysia campus spoke to Phillipe in Spanish (he's from Mexico) if she could get them a drink from across the bar like that and they had a conversation going while everyone else was just like, WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!

And Phillipe was really funny. He asked her, so what is it that you do? Her reply? I run a university.

Gosh. Phillipe is so funny. It was so nice to meet other international students and talk about things. Like how we all love the mimosa and can spend so much time just getting it to close !
