03 March 2015 - The other box

Like I said in the previous post, I received 2 parcel yesterday. One was the unexpected gift from my sister and the other was sort of a present to myself. Was just checking my email the other day when I saw that L'Occitane was running some promotion so I had to go and take a look (and spend some money).

It came beautifully wrapped (because I decided to go for the gift wrap option even though I was just buying it for myself) in layers of paper to reveal ....

Well, I got myself the Shea Gentle Toner (£15) and with it came two samples, the Divine cream and the Divine extract. which I have not tried yet. I have to say, the toner was amazing. It's one of the best toners that I've ever used. It's got a nice watery texture (I don't care for sticky toners) and half a pump is enough for my entire face, It soothed my skin and kept it really well moisturized through the night.

The current toner I'm using is the Pomegranate Antioxidant Toner from Pure Beauty. It's an okay-toner that can sometimes cause my skin to itch on days when my skin is just being uncooperative. (There are certain days where my skin is more sensitive and I could hardly use any products on my face except for water-based moisturizers.) It's a little sticky and I usually use a little more than two or three pumps to use on my face.

Based on the two uses yesterday, I have to say that I like the Shea Gentle Toner more than my current toner. But we'll see how it goes.  Well, this is the not the only thing I scored.

I think I've said this, but ... this blemish stick from Boots is amazing. I use it alot now. The instance I feel my skin itching, I just apply a bit of this on my skin and voila, the itch stops ! And I can say that this is something that I definitely want to keep using !

The mask was okay, but not my favourite. I have used better masks and don't really feel much of a difference before and after use. Can't wait to finish up my current Manuka Honey Mud Mask so I can open up the Milk and Mud Mask that I got while I was in New Zealand !
