09 May 2015 - Very British Weather and conversations

The weather this entire week is kind of dreary. The sky outside my room is overfilled with grey clouds and I am hoping, with fingers crossed, that it's just a passing cloud of gloom that's heading somewhere else now (considering the fact that it's a huge blot of cloud ... I can safely say that I don't think it is heading anywhere soon).

Revision kind of gone well with 2 chapters down but my head hurts from using it all the morning, so I conclude that it's more than enough. Considering the fact that I have already done half of my revision, so that's good.

Can't bring out the energy to head to the post office and the weather's gloomy anyway. So I don't think I would be heading out there soon.

Soph brought up her car last weekend so she's heading out to pick up Jemma's friend from the railway station. Silly her is panicking about what if she gets lost. And the conversation became funny and silly very quickly.

She's got a navigator app and she is still worried about getting lost but I assured her that she won't get lost because that's what the navigator is for.

But of course ...

Soph: okay, if I end up in Scotland, IT MIGHT HAPPEN.
Me: YOU WON'T END UP IN SCOTLAND, YOU WOULD REALISE WHEN YOU GET LOST ! Like a 10 min drive becomes an hour long. You know you are lost. When the plains give way to hills and mountains, YOU KNOW YOU ARE LOST.
Soph: LOL. WHEN THE HILLS BECOMES MOUNTAINS
Me: THEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN FUCKING SCOTLAND. YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU ARE LOST.

Pardon the language, it's just kind of crazy for her to think that she would end up in Scotland when it's freaking hours away and you would definitely realise it even before you are halfway there. This kind of conversations is probably the only thing that's getting me going for this exam period. I just feel sooooo unmotivated.

And yes, going to watch the Little Shop of Horror production on campus tonight ! I already heard reviews from last night's show that it's good ! So I am looking forward to it, especially since I've already caught it once in Singapore and I really love the production !
