Today's not the most productive day and I had to drag myself out of bed as usual even though lectures started 30 mins later than usual. Introductory Physiology is always a hit or miss. I enjoyed Dr John Harris' lectures and a couple of other lecturers, but there's this particular lecturer that always lull me to sleep with his rather monotonous lecturing. I guess everyone has that one lecturer who is always a little sleepy or monotone.
But yes, the practical was conducted by Dr. John Harris so YAY. I won't say I enjoyed myself immensely during the practical since it's a lot of standing around and watching the gut segment contract and relax, then wait for the data collection to be over, then we record our measurements etc.
It was incredibly boring at first but after a while, the experiment kind of grew on me. I know, it's probably one of those strange science things that science students experience. And now, I have just got a biochemistry report to write up, a practical questionnaire on the autonomic nervous system and a 1500 words essay on how rodent models helped understand how appetite is being regulated.
And then, I need to do some light revision since exams are in May.
Life of a student T_T.
